Privacy policy
Controller and contact
Codepolder / Reprevi, Westhavenkade 71P, 3131 AH Vlaardingen, Netherlands, KVK 42061196, is responsible for account and service data. Contact manager@codcl.com. For business media processing we act on documented instructions where a processor relationship applies; request a data processing agreement before such use.
What we process and why
We process account email, password hashes, licence and installation identifiers, policy acceptance records, support messages and necessary security metadata to deliver the contract, meet legal obligations and protect the service through legitimate interests. Passwords are not retained in plain text. Registration and payment do not grant blanket GDPR consent. Optional marketing would require a separate choice.
Media is transient
Our processing servers do not maintain a permanent media archive. Uploads and generated media use temporary RAM-backed buffers. Sources are deleted when processing ends; abandoned buffers are removed within two hours, subject to a one-minute sweep. Job results in volatile memory expire 30 minutes after their last update. Generated files remain available for the processing session for at most two hours. Restarts can remove them sooner. Download exports locally. This is temporary processing, not a promise that no bytes ever enter memory.
Providers and recipients
Authorised hosting, payment and email providers may receive the data necessary for their functions. Media processing can send frames, audio or text to the selected AI provider. Its retention and international transfer terms are separate; do not assume third parties retain nothing. Paid AI processing remains unavailable until provider, usage and privacy conditions are configured and disclosed. We do not sell personal data or use your media to train our own models.
Retention and transfers
Account records are kept while your account is needed and reviewed for deletion within 30 days of a valid closure request. Necessary licence, dispute and security records may be retained for a justified period; access logs rotate after seven days. Statutory financial records are kept for the legally required period, normally seven years under Dutch tax rules where applicable. Temporary media is excluded from backups. Transfers outside the EEA require a lawful mechanism, such as an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses and necessary safeguards.
Your choices
Request access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability or objection at manager@codcl.com. We respond within one month unless a lawful extension applies and explain justified exceptions. You may complain to the Dutch Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens or your local supervisory authority. Providing data required for the service is necessary to operate an account. We do not make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
Payment and transactional email providers
Stripe handles checkout, billing details, tax identifiers and payment records. Google Gmail delivers transactional account messages from codepolder@gmail.com; replies are directed to manager@codcl.com. These providers have their own retention and transfer terms. Media files are not attached to these emails or sent to Stripe.
AI processing provider
Together AI (Together Computer, Inc.) processes selected frames and necessary text for inference. Its organisation privacy settings govern supplier retention. We have not verified zero data retention for this account and do not promise it. Processing may occur outside the EEA. Our processing servers do not keep a permanent media archive.
Local voice workspace
In the macOS local voice workspace, separation and mixing happen on your device. With your explicit upload choice, isolated speech goes directly to your selected ElevenLabs or Together AI account; translation text can also go to Together AI. Your provider credentials stay in Keychain. Provider charges, processing terms and retention settings apply separately. Local review projects and exports are stored on your device; remove temporary projects in the application. We do not promise zero retention by these providers.
